A member of the House of Representatives representing Asalga/Akulga Federal Constituency of Rivers State, Boma Goodhead, on Tuesday confronted operatives of the Department of State Security (DSS) occupying the National Assembly Complex.
According to a video of the encounter circulating on social media, the lawmaker walked briskly towards the masked and heavily-armed DSS operatives and questioned their right to be there.
Goodhead also dared them to shoot her.
Pointing at the weapons, she said, “Start shooting, shoot this gun.”

Although a voice could be heard telling her to calm down, the female lawmaker was not placated as she queried the rationale behind their occupation of the complex.
According to Goodhead, President Muhammadu Buhari would not have been president if his predecessor, Dr. Goodluck Jonathan, had been as intolerant of the opposition as being displayed by the present administration.
She said, “I am a member of the House of Reps…Enough is Enough
“I dare you to shoot this bullet and Nigerians will face you.
“Go back to your station. You cannot come here and embarrass and also oppress us here.
“Was this the same thing that Jonathan did to Buhari? If Jonathan had done this, would Buhari have become president? You cannot do this to us.
“You start shooting at us. Have you heard?”
“You come here with masked face. You come here with bullets in your (gun) to intimidate who?
“Enough is enough in Nigeria.”
