Latest Grammy Award winner, Burna Boy celebrated Sunday’s historic win with a heartfelt hug for his mother and manager, Bose Ogulu popularly known as Mama Burna on Mother’s Day.
He shared a video of the celebration via his verified Twitter handle shortly after he won the ‘Best Global Music Album’ category for his 2020 project, “Twice as Tall”.

Burna Boy’s album won ahead of Antibalas’ ‘The Fu Chronicles’, Bebel Gilberto’s ‘Agora’, Anoushka Shankar’s ‘Love Letters’ and Tinariwen’s ‘Amadjar’.
The 29-year-old won the award in his second time being nominated.
Recall that he was nominated for his “African Giant” album in the same category in the 2020 Grammys but lost to veteran Angelique Kidjo.
