A socio-political commentator, Kayode Ogundamisi, has charged police authorities to discipline some policemen that shot sporadically to celebrate a politician’s victory at the recently-concluded polls.
In a trending 29-second video, two policemen can be seen lifting up their AK-47 rifles and releasing a volley of bullets into the air.
Although unconfirmed, there are indications that the incident occurred in Zamfara State.
Ogundamisi, who shared the video, captioned it: Police, watch as your officer’s waste bullets to celebrate a politicians victory at the polls. Can they be identified and reprimanded?

Nigeria is turning into a lawless society. In my opinion, it's a matter of leadership failure. People can disagree with me, but it's a fact if we are truthful to ourselves. We witnessd what happened in New Zealand, and how thr prime minister showed leadership and ppl responded.

That is wasteful as part of police unable to show accountability for the bullet usage. They new is Tax payers money, and being attached to political holder everything goes.

This is a normal thing bro!
Those police officers can't be queried or questioned because it will only take a call or highest visit by their principal to the police top echelon!
It is called "eye service"

Reprimand??? Sir, If at all they will agree that these are Nigerian police officers. It is a norm here with our politicians for celebration…

This is as normal as throwing bangers.
Police officers will 'light the air' for you at any chance.
