Super Eagles winger, Victor Moses has withdrawn from the team’s friendly games against the Democratic Republic of Congo and Cameroon billed to hold in Belgium.
The Super Eagles are billed to play DR Congo on Thursday in Vise, Liege and Cameroon on Sunday in Dendermonde.
The West Ham United winger stated in a communication to the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) that he would miss the games because he wishes to avoid injury.
Moses, who is on loan from English Premier League champions Chelsea, is the second invited player to pull out of the encounters, after Turkey-based defender, Kenneth Omeruo.
Omeruo’s club Kasimpasa had stated that the player was suffering from a hamstring injury that would keep him on the side-lines for two weeks.
In his reaction to this latest pull out, Eagles coach, Sunday Oliseh said: “We have no choice now but to work with the other players who are available.
“The fact that the other batch of players from home were not issued their visas last week is also setting us back because we would really want to take advantage of the time to put in a lot of work.”
