Daniel Okereke

Other rape victims have come out to accuse Daniel Okereke, Cousin of former Director–General of the Nigerian Stock Exchange (NSE), President, Ndi Okereke-Onyiuke and brother of Stephenie Okereke who was recently accused of raping a 300 Level University of Lagos Student simply identified as Arinola. Although the comments were anonymous, the comments gave vivid description of their experiences.

One person commented on Linda Ikeji’s Blog that “that guy is a full rapist! I want him to go to jail, he did same to me! Prince my fucking foot, he will tell you he has dogs and he will bring them out to eat you if you shout, he ordered the security to lock the gate that if I shout, he will bring his drivers and security to take their turns on me.”

Another person also commented that “that’s how he wanted to rape my friend then in Unilag in 2007, always forming friendship and good intention. Thank God my friend blowed his dick and ran to out to the compound and his neighbour was outside if not his security men would have bundled her back inside.”

One other person also said that her friend  went to his house but she begged him to leave her because she was on her period, so she promised to come back and have sex with him, that was how the girl escaped.

Another unnamed person explained that “Daniel Okereke is Stephanie Okereke’s blood brother and Stephanie Okereke’s immediate elder brother; he comes from Ngor Okpalla Local Government Owerri, Imo state. Honorable Emeka Ihedioha is his uncle. This is not his first rape; he always treats women anyhow, when asked he would say the women that come from poor families without name are nothing.”

One lady also said she almost fell victim but she was able to call her friend and he rescued her.

Mr. Okereke was arraigned along with his security guard Idris Abubakar at Magistrate court, Yaba. Mr. Okereke was granted bail in the sum of N200, 000 and Mr. Abubarkar was granted bail in the sum of N50, 000. The case has been adjourned t0 January 9, 2015, for trial.
