Nigerian rapper Vector Tha Viper has called on celebrities to refrain from supporting bad governance, warning that the consequences of their actions will eventually affect them.
In a post on his social media handle, Vector criticized celebrities who take sides against the reality of their own people and fans, urging them to repent and stop supporting bad governance.
His statement comes amidst the ongoing nationwide protests against the high level of hardship in the country. Vector’s advice is a cautionary note to celebrities who have openly declared their support for politicians or joined partisan politics in recent years.
Vector’s post read: “To the celebrities taking sides against the reality of their own people/fans, it may be best to repent before you become the only reachable option if the hardship doesn’t stop. Stop supporting bad governance.”
