The American University of Nigeria (AUN), has commenced free training of members of Adamawa business community to enhance the quality of businesses in the state.
The training is being handled by the University School of Business and Entrepreneurship in collaboration with the Adamawa Chamber of Commerce, Mines and Agriculture.

Ensign, who was represented by Mr Julius Ayuk-Tabe, the institution’s Chief Information Officer, said that the workshops were like the business clinics it earlier conducted for small business owners.
the varsity president said such programmes that involve reaching out to host communities were what made AUN stand out among other universities.
“We are not just a university but a development university and no decision fits that name better than when we do things like this.
“Our hope at AUN is that this is the beginning of many training like this. We are hoping that this will give you an appetizer,” Ensign said.
The papers presented at the workshop, included “Marketing in a Challenging Environment; Entrepreneurship and Sustainability Management; Financial Management for SMEs; ICT and Business Performance; and Managing Stress and Work-Life Balance.
