The Leader of Biafra Independence Movement (BIM), Chief Ralph Uwazuruike, has been invited to the Owerri Office of the Department of State Services (DSS).
Uwazuruike said he was invited “for a meeting with the State Director” on Thursday through a Wednesday night text message sent by one Sampson, Vanguard reported.
“I am Sampson from DSS office, Imo State Headquarters, Owerri. You are invited to come to DSS Headquarters, Owerri tomorrow (yesterday) for a meeting with the State Director. Time 1200 hours. You can call this number if you need additional information pls,” the text message read.

Although the reason for the invitation was not stated, it is believed to be connected to a viral video in which Uwazuruike called on Ndigbo to come together to reject the now-suspended implementation of Ruga Settlement in the South East geopolitical zone.
Uwazuruike had called on Ndigbo to “reject the RUGA settlement project in its entirety”.
