US President, Donald Trump has expressed condolences to the family of a retired police captain who was shot and killed by looters in violent protests on Tuesday.
Retired police Captain, David Dorn was shot and killed by looters after he responded to a burglary alarm at Lee’s Pawn and Jewelry on Martin Luther King drive in st. Louis.

The death of the retired police Captain was confirmed by St Louis Chief of Police, John Hayden in a press conference on Tuesday.
According to the Police Chief, looters and Protesters damaged the properties of 55 businesses in downtown St. Louis, including the pawn shop where David Dorn was killed.
Trump called the killer of the retired police captain as a despicable looter.
“Our highest respect to the family of David Dorn, a Great Police Captain from St. Louis, who was viciously shot and killed by despicable looters last night.
“We honor our police officers, perhaps more than ever before. Thank you. Trump tweeted.
The United States is experiencing it’s 8th day of violent protests over the death of an African American, George Floyd at the hands of Minneapolis police department.
More than 30 American cities have imposed curfews while the National Guard have been called out on the streets.
Trump charged State Governors to bring the violence under control or he would send in the Military to do their job for them.
