The missing 22-year old lady, Oluwakemi Soyebo, who works as a sales agent in Agbara, Ogun State, has returned home in a mysterious manner.
Recall that the young lady had left work on Monday but did not get home nor communicate her whereabouts to anyone.
According to reports, Oluwakemi was suddenly sighted on her street around 6 pm on June 3, three days after she went missing. However, she is yet to utter any word since she returned.
Oluwakemi’s inability to speak has since thrown her family members into another round of panic, owing to the fact that she had already been taken to the hospital for treatment and checkups.
In an interview with City Round, her older brother, Suleman, bemoaned her current condition, stating that no one has been able to get a hang of what could have actually gone wrong.
He explained, “Yesterday (Thursday), around 6 pm while everybody was still searching for her, she walked into the street. We learnt that she was dropped off by a taxi and that the driver zoomed off. Residents who saw her at that point were overjoyed and did not pay attention to the taxi.
“When she got home, she was given water because she had lost strength. She started vomiting and was rushed to the hospital. She has not been able to speak up till now. Series of tests have been carried out on her. I think it was a case of kidnapping. She is conscious now but she has not spoken. My mother was crying uncontrollably. She was happy. She could not eat or sleep throughout the days she was missing.”
