United Airline will on June 30, 2016 be joining a host of other Airlines who have cancelled their flight schedule to Nigeria permanently.
The airline, after operating a daily route to and from Houston to Lagos is set to cancel its flight schedule into the country by the end of the next month.
The cancellation however has been linked to two major reasons including problems encountered in repatriation of ticket fees.
The Airline’s spokesman, Jonathan Guerin said: “Repatriation has been a significant issue, as has been the downturn in the energy sector,”
Also cited as reason for the eventual termination of flight routes into the country is the weakness of the nation’s energy sector.
