Ukrainian Prime Minister, Arseny Yatsenyuk has announced his resignation after narrowly dodging non-confidence vote about 2 months ago.
The Ukrainian Prime Minster announced his long-expected resignation after weeks of political crisis which has plagued Kiev.
During his public announcement on Sunday, Yatsenyuk said he would formally submit his resignation on Tuesdays to the parliament.
The Ukrainian public however see the announcement as a relief as the public blame the Prime minister whose approval rating has been low and languishing in the single-digit range for the ruined economy.
The public also blame the Prime Minister for his failure to implement reforms promised when taking office.
The Ukrainian Prime minister’s tenure has been plagued with political scandals which led up to the resignation of his economy Minister, Aivaras Abromavicius, over alleged corruption.
