Hailing cabs have become as easy as a click on one’s smartphone but as much as it has become easy, forgetfulness among humans seems to be increasing at a geometric progression.
Forgetting items in you ride could be stressful especially when such items are important, the chance of getting such items back however becomes slimmer based on the number and type of cab driver or other passengers he/she might have offered transportation service to.
Uber, aware of the high rate of forgetfulness among humans has however ranked the top ten most forgetful cities based on the “Lost and Found Index,”.
The index revealed cities such as Los Angeles, New York City and San Fransisco topping the list.
Other cities ranking high on the most forgetful index in North America are; Chicago in the fourth place, Miami, Washington D.C., and Atlanta in the fifth, sixth, and seventh position while Boston, Toronto, and Dallas occupy the eight, ninth and tenth position.
A list of top ten most forgotten unique items released by the company include: Valium, Grill set, Meat packet, Bulletproof vest, Wooden hat, Lottery ticket, Back massage device, Rose quartz, Mustard, Bible, Rubber mallet, Tap handle and Engagement ring.
The company further revealed that some other items which comes as a shocking delight that have been forgotten in its taxis include a bulletproof vest, a sweet potato care package, a smoke machine, and a cut out of an elf.
Topping the list however is something called a set of “Nordic walking poles.”
