Former Minister of Justice, Mohammed Adoke was arrested in Dubai, UAE on Sunday. However, Attorney-General of the Federation and current Minister of Justice, Abubakar Malami has declined commenting on the matter.
According to him, he can and will not make any comment until the United Arab Emirates (UAE) officially communicate the arrest of Adoke.
Malami in a statement issued by his Media aide, Dr. Umar Jubrilu Gwandu, he said “I can’t speak speculatively”

“My office as the Attorney General Federation and Minister of Justice of the Federal Republic of Nigeria is not in receipt of any formal communication regarding the alleged arrest in line with international conventions, processes and procedures relating to such matter.”
