The Norwegian Foreign Affairs Ministry complained to Twitter on Tuesday after its account was labeled a “Nigeria government organization,” as the platform’s rocky reset under new owner Elon Musk continues.
Twitter has erroneously labeled several official Norwegian Twitter accounts as "Nigeria government organization":

🔵Minister of Foreign Affairs @AHuitfeldt

The Norwegian ministry of foreign affairs called on Twitter to fix the error.
‘“Dear @TwitterSupport, as much as we enjoy our excellent bilateral relations and close alphabetical vicinity with Nigeria, we would much appreciate if you could label us as Norway,” read a tweet from the ministry.
Dear @TwitterSupport, as much as we enjoy our excellent bilateral relations and close alphabetical vicinity with Nigeria, we would much appreciate if you could label us as Norway😉
P.S. That also goes for Prime Minister @jonasgahrstore and Foreign Minister @AHuitfeldt 🇳🇴 pic.twitter.com/wr6cb3yv2W

Norwegian Prime Minister Jonas Gahr Store, Foreign Minister Anniken Huitfeldt, and her ministry were all identified as Nigerian government officials or institutions on Tuesday.
The Herald reports that Twitter has removed the wrong label from the Norwegian account.
Reactions
Twitter went ablaze after the accounts were mislabeled, several users responded to the mistake.
“So it’s actually been Norwegians all along that keep sending everyone those letters about a dead prince and advance fees,” wrote one person in reference to fraudulent “Nigeria letters”.
“Norgeria?” mused another.
A Twitter user, said “Oh, so the norwegian ministry of foreign affairs IDENTIFIES as norway??? Their pronouns are nor/way??? Sounds like a bunch of BLUE HAIR SOCIAL JUSTICE FJORDERS, TO ME.”

Twitter has forgotten geography and confused Norway and Nigeria.
The social network tagged the account of the Norwegian Foreign Ministry as "Nigerian official authority". A similar note is on the pages of the Prime Minister of the country and the Foreign Minister of Norway. pic.twitter.com/PbEladyS0a
