Controversial blogger and social media influencer, Kemi Olunloyo has not lost her Twitter account as reported on the social media platform.
Olunloyo, the daughter of former Oyo State Governor, Omololu Olunloyo, was said to have had her account suspended early Tuesday.
The highly-controversial blogger, who is known for making outlandish claims, had angered many Twitter users weekend for urging the Federal Government to shut down social media in the wake of EndSARS protests across the nation.
Some Twitter influencers, including Pamilerin Adegoke @UnclePamerin, with whom she had a disagreement penultimate week, took to the platform to gloat over the alleged suspension.
But a quick check of her handle, @KemiOlunloyo showed that the account was not suspended as reported.
The Herald can confirm that the account tweeted as of 10:52 am, hours after it was reported suspended.
Olunloyo also dropped a message in reaction to the alleged suspension.
She wrote, @TwitterSupport DIDN’T suspend my acct. I haven’t broken Twitter rules. How can a country full of lies hate 1 person?
“You reported me over 5000 times and they send me critical ones. List of criminal youth elements, shut down SM during uprising are example. I’m a JOURNALIST duh”
Replying a troll, she explained, “Nigerians don’t know how to use Twitter. When you DEACTIVATE your account, you can reactivate back in 30 days to a year. When you do, it starts with ZERO followers and counts back to where it was. In my case 297K as 6000 unfollowed. I don’t count you. You NEED me. Cheers.”
