Trump plans spectacular social media return, to launch own platform

Former US President Donald Trump will be returning to social media with his own platform in the near future, a senior adviser, Jason Miller, has said.

The ex-president’s return, he said, would be in the next two to three months.

Miller told FoxNews that the venture would be “big” and “completely redefine” the social media landscape.

Recall that major social media platforms, including Facebook and Twitter, had indefinitely suspended Trump’s accounts in the wake of the January 6 invasion of the US Capitol by his loyalists.

Since the indefinite ban, Trump has stayed off social media.

But speaking to Fox News’ #MediaBuzz on Sunday, Miller said, “I do think that we’re going to see President Trump returning to social media in probably about two or three months here, with his own platform.

“And this is something that I think will be the hottest ticket in social media, it’s going to completely redefine the game, and everybody is going to be waiting and watching to see what exactly President Trump does.”

He added that the 74-year-old has been holding high-powered meetings with various teams at his Mar-a-Lago residence to actualise the venture.

Miller added that “many companies” have approached the ex-president over the venture.
