United States President Donald Trump is set to sign an Executive Order barring social media platforms from acting as publishers, according to White House spokesperson Kayleigh McEnany.
This move comes less than 48 hours after the social media platform, fact checked two tweets made by the President on how mail in voting can be used to suppress votes, and rig an election.
The US President tweeted yesterday, “Republicans feel that Social Media Platforms totally silence conservatives voices. We will strongly regulate, or close them down, before we can ever allow this to happen. We saw what they attempted to do, and failed, in 2016. We can’t let a more sophisticated version of that happen again. Just like we can’t let large scale Mail-In Ballots take root in our Country. It would be a free for all on cheating, forgery and the theft of Ballots. Whoever cheated the most would win. Likewise, Social Media. Clean up your act, NOW!!!!”

Many Republicans on the social media platform, Twitter have responded with glee to the President’s planned actions as the major social media platforms, Facebook and Twitter have been known to censor the speech of Trump supporter’s and have written and unwritten policies deployed to mute conservative voices.
Only recently, Yoel Roth, the Twitter executive responsible for site integrity had his liberal bias exposed as it was discovered he had tweeted that Trump and his administration comprised of “actual Nazi’s.” He also slammed supporters of President Trump. Twitter is yet to respond to how such bias can lead to neutrality on political viewpoints expressed on its platform.

Twitter made a HUGE mistake. They have now injected themselves into a US election and decided to become editorialists, rather than a platform. ALL platform protections should be immediately revoked and Twitter should be treated as a publisher. They did this to themselves.

That’s been my big issue, when the left doesn’t like what I’ve posted, no matter how academic well-researched the source, they don’t present countervailing facts. They jump to “discredited source”, a source that their own biased fact checkers have discredited.
