The Legal teams representing witnesses and Army officers gathered at the court today to continue the BRT tribunal.
The tribunal in question was inaugurated by Governor, Babatunde Fashola (SAN) to look into the incident that occurred on July at ikorodu road which allegedly claimed the life of a Soldier and also lead to the destruction of BRT buses.
The tribunal which aims at delving deep into the cause of the incident started on Tuesday, September 16.
Based on the coverage provided by hdinigeria, a Lagos based NGO, reports were gathered on the court Proceeding.
A witness identified as Abiodun Apata presented the tracking details of the BRT bus involved ( M063 ) to the panel.
” According to LAG BUS tracking device the bus in question stopped at 9:15pm on 3rd of July.”
After the incident it was moved by Army officials to Ikeja Cantonment around “11:48am on 4th July,” the bus remained there “till 3:49pm on 5th July” when it was moved to “Governor’s office Alausa Ikeja.”
Another witness whose evidence of “medical report, spoilt phone & picture of broken arm” were presented to the panel was asked to come
back Next week Monday after the counsel for the Army, Lt. Col Hyacinth Andi Ugal requested for time to go through the records.
“other evidences including Log Book, servicing records among others” were submitted by the Counsel to LAG Bus.
Lt. Col Hyacinth Andi Ugal was then asked by the panel to bring along all documents related to the corpse of the deceased by Monday.
