The Oyo State House of Assembly Election Petition Tribunal, sitting in Ibadan has delivered its verdict, upholding the elections of two lawmakers of the People’s Democratic Party, PDP.
The 3-man Panel of Justices was led by D.M Igyuse, who upheld the elections of Messrs Olasunkanmi Babalola of Egbeda state constituency and Akeem Adeshina of Iwajowa state constituency.
Olasunkanmi Babalola who is the Deputy Majority Leader and Akeem Adeshina were petitioned by Mr. Olalekan Usman and Johnson Eroyalesun both of the All Progressive Congress, APC.

In the verdict, The Tribunal dismissed the petitions filed by the opposing All Progressive Congress on the basis of lack of proof to establish claims of irregularity in the election.
