Nollywood actress Toyin Abraham has taken decisive action against cyberbullying by reportedly arresting an X user who wished death upon her son. The actress, known for her support of President Bola Tinubu during the 2023 general election, engaged in a heated exchange with the X user identified as @Yarlo.
During the exchange, the X user made a disturbing comment, writing, “Your son go kpai soon” (meaning “Your son will soon die”). In response, Toyin vowed to use him as a scapegoat, to which the X user replied, “Use me as the first scapegoat.”
In a recent development, another user claiming to be close to @Yarlo alleged that the X user was arrested by the Lagos State Police Command for cyberbullying Toyin Abraham. Reedah, the user who reached out for help on behalf of the arrested individual, stated, “Hello, I’m Reedah, and Yarlo is my friend. I heard from his mother that he was arrested four days ago. The police came from Lagos to arrest him for cyberbullying Toyin Abraham. Any help you can render will be deeply appreciated.”
Efforts to obtain comments from the Lagos State Police Command spokesperson, Benjamin Hundeyin, via phone calls and text messages were unsuccessful.
