Tonto Dikeh faces forgery charges, more drama unfolds between her and ex-husband

2 Min Read

Popular Nollywood actress, Tonto Dikeh, may have gotten more than what she bargained for as her ongoing quarrel with her former husband, Olakunle Churchill, took a new turn on Thursday.

In a  petition filed against the actress, Churchill claimed that she forged the documents of his car, a Prado SUV, which she subsequently sold off illegally.

The accusations were filed and submitted to the office of the Inspector General of Police by Churchill’s lawyer.

The petition equally stated that the vehicle was purchased by the Big Church Group – an organization owned by Churchill, for the sum of 22 million Naira.

However, Tonto Dikeh began to use the vehicle personally after she gave birth to their only son, Andre.

The petition further highlighted that Churchill left the SUV with her, even after their divorce but the actress went ahead to illegally change the ownership details of the car and sold it out thereafter.

Churchill’s lawyer equally stated, “we make this submission to the police, not because he’s interested in having the vehicle back, but just to keep the police informed, so as not be dragged into any issue over whatever the vehicle may be used for, since he wasn’t aware of the transaction or even the person that acquired the vehicle.”
