National Leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Asiwaju Bola Tinubu has disagreed with insinuations that herdsmen killed Mrs Funke Olakunrin, daughter of Afenifere leader, Pa Reuben Fasoranti.
Olakunrin, 58, was killed along the Ore-Shagamu Expressway at Kajola Village in Odigbo Local Government Area of Ondo State.
Tinubu said that it was wrong to stigmatise any particular group for insecurity in the country, adding that those blaming herdsmen for the killing lack evidence to back their claim.
The former Lagos governor said this when he paid a condolence visit to Fasoranti in his home in Akure, Ondo State over the loss of his daughter.
Responding to a question that herdsmen were behind the killing, Tinubu, “I am extremely concerned about security but I don’t want stigma.
“I can go through history of kidnapping and we know how it started, where it all started, there are lot of copycats, how many years ago have we faced insecurity in this country and cases of kidnapping? Is Evans a herdsman?”
