The National Leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Bola Ahmed Tinubu has met with Governor Of Osun state, Rauf Aregbesola, to discuss emergence of Rotimi Akeredolu as the governorship candidate of the party for the November 26 election in Ondo state.
Governor Rauf Aregbesola has been accused of being responsible for Tinubu’s candidate loss at Ondo APC primaries.
Recall that Rotimi Akeredolu, a former President of the Nigerian Bar Association, won the Ondo APC primary elections.
He defeated Olusegun Abraham, the aspirant endorsed by Bola Ahmed Tunubu, by scoring 669 votes.
The Ondo APC has been embroiled in crisis as a result of the primary election.
One of the contestants in the Primary election, Chief Olusola Oke has faulted the result of the election.
Chief Oke alleged that some names of the delegates were removed from the delegates’ list while non-delegates were allowed to vote.
