Tinubu Hails Ibrahim-Imam’s Appointment as TETFUND Chairman

APC National Leader, Sen. Bola Tinubu, has commended President Muhammadu Buhari for appointing Alhaji Kashim Ibrahim-Imam as Chairman, Board of Trustees of the Tertiary Education Trust Fund (TETFUND).

Tinubu, in a statement signed by his Media Adviser, Tunde Rahman, on Wednesday in Lagos said Buhari was prudent in making an excellent choice.

According to the APC leader, Alhaji Kashim Ibrahim-Imam is bringing on board the TETFUND Board his high cognitive abilities, deep knowledge and immense skills.

“He horned his administrative and managerial skills over years of constant learning and engagement in the corporate sector.

“From my years of a close relationship with him, I know that with his tenacity, innovative ideas and commitment to the development of tertiary education in Nigeria, he has the right qualities to make a huge difference at this important organisation.

“I commend President Muhammadu Buhari and the Minister of Education, Mallam Adamu Adamu, for their wisdom and prudence in finding an excellent man for the job,” he said.

Tinubu, thereafter, congratulated Ibrahim-Imam for his appointment.

He prayed to God to guide and direct him to make the right decisions that would positively impact tertiary institutions in the country.
