Lagos State Ministry of Health has announced the death of 3 COVID-19 patients on Sunday, May 3, bringing the total fatality to 28 in the state.
The ministry announced this on its official Twitter handle, disclosing also that 22 cases ofCOVID-19 were discharged from the state’s isolation centres.
It tweeted:
“As of May 2, 2020, 62 new cases of COVID-19 Infection were confirmed in the state, making a total of 1,084 confirmed cases. 22 COVID-19 Lagos patients were discharged.
“Unfortunately, three COVID-19 deaths were recorded. This brings the total number of COVID-19 related deaths in Lagos to 28.”
