Three Fulani Herdsmen Killed As Southern Kaduna Crisis Worsens

Unknown gunmen have reportedly killed a total of three Fulani herdsmen in Southern Kaduna.

The recent attack on herdsmen in the Southern Kaduna region comes after there was a massive killing in the area.

According to residents of the area, the unknown gunmen killed two of the three dead Fulani herdsmen at Unguwan Maiyashi village in Jemaa Local Government of the State and proceeded to kill another at Madakiya community of Zangon Kataf LGA.

The killing were however all carried out in locations within the Southern Kaduna region of the state.

Speaking on the incident which occurred on 11th of March, Aliyu Usman, the state police command’s spokesman revealed that the herdsmen were traced to a river adding that some arrests had been made in connections with the murders.

Recall that the Southern Kaduna region of the state had been plagued with crisis which had claimed more than a thousand lives.

Recently, the state governor, Nasir El-Ruai revealed that investigations was ongoing in linking Chocolate City boss, Audu Maikori to a series of killing in the area conucted after he tweeted inciteful statements on his social media page.

Audu Maikori has however been re-arrested by men of the Department of States Services, DSS and was reported to have been taken to Kaduna.
