‘ I am the Coronavirus Guy’ 55 yr old Kevin Harris says from his hospital bed in Warren, Ohio as he lets out a couple of deep chested coughs.
Kevin is a father of four and one of many people in the United States infected with the Coronavirus.
He decided to share his story on social media to help relieve fear among people who have contracted the virus. His message is simple; contracting Coronavirus is not a death sentence.
The 55 year old was admitted at the Mercy Health st Joseph Warren Hospital on Sunday and diagnosed with the virus on Wednesday.
Speaking on how he got infected and the treatment he has received so far, Kevin is shown on the hospital bed as he coughs and another person is beside him wearing protective clothing.
He said he was feeling ill for a couple of weeks and he decided to stay home. He started coughing and he felt really weak and sick. When the symptoms got worse, he was evacuated to the hospital where he was diagnosed with Coronavirus.
“At first I felt like I was going to die but now it’s slowly getting better,” he said adding that he was finally able to sleep through the night on Friday – the first time in weeks.
