This Is The Problem With Nigeria’s Leaders – Common Sense Senator, Ben Murray Bruce

Ben Murray Bruce

‘Common Sense’ Senator, Ben Murray Bruce has identified Nigeria’s problem noting that prayer is one of the least problems the country is faced with.

Ben Murray-Bruce took to his social media page on Facebook to criticize the system of governance in the country and its apparent misplaced priorities.

In a series of posts, the Senator pointed out that states with beggars on the streets, those owing workers salaries and with poor educational facilities have no business sponsoring pilgrimages.

He wrote: “I am strongly of the view that states that have kids begging on the streets instead of learning in schools should as a matter of urgency divert whatever they budgeted for pilgrimage to education.”

He further added in a later post, “If a state is among those states taking Federal Government bailouts and among those owing workers salaries, it should not also be among those states sponsoring pilgrimages!”

Further articulating his point, Ben Murray-Bruce added: “Nigeria’s problem is not prayer. We are the most prayerful nation on earth. What we need is intelligent action.”

Concluding his series of posts, he added: “Good intentions, without good planning and good execution, will never translate to good results. This is what Nigeria’s leaders fail to note!”
