Former Aviation Minister, Chief Femi Fani-Kayode has warned presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, against resting on his oars.
Fani-Kayode made this known in a tweet via his verified Twitter handle on Monday.
Atiku won the presidential ticket with 1,532 votes to defeat 11 other candidates that included Senate President Bukola Saraki and Sokoto State Governor, Aminu Tambuwal.
But Fani-Kayode believes the Waziri of Adamawa’s battle has just begun.
According to him, the former Vice President must prepare for a “mother of all battles” with the incumbent President Muhammadu Buhari, who came to office in 2015 after defeating then incumbent, Goodluck Jonathan.
The PDP chieftain said that the party must also “rally its forces” against a “desperate” president, who is “relentless” in his bid for a second term in office.

He said, “It is one thing to win a presidential primary and quite another to win a presidential election. The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) must gird its loins, rally its forces and prepare for the mother of all battles because we are up against a dangerous, desperate, relentless and callous President.”
