Famous Nigerian music director and cinematographer, ThankGod Omori Smith, popularly known as TG Omori or Boy Director, has revealed that his only brother donated a kidney to him.
TG Omori shared this emotional news on Tuesday while discussing his health challenges. In a trending post on his official X account, he disclosed that the kidney transplant took place on Monday, August 26, 2024.
“Yesterday my only brother gave me one of his kidneys so I could live again,” he wrote.
The music director also took to his Instagram story to share pictures of himself on a hospital bed receiving oxygen. Captioning the photos, he wrote: “keep my spirit alive. I don’t wanna die.”
It is reported that TG Omori had been absent from the public eye for some time, causing concern among his fans. His recent revelation has shed light on the reason behind his absence.
