Terrorists suspected to be herdsmen have shot two persons dead in Okeluse Community in the Ose Local Government Area of Ondo State.
In the incident that occurred on Sunday, the gunmen were said to have stormed the community around 6 pm.
The assailants upon sighting the two persons, said to be a petrol station owner and a petrol attendant, shot them dead, The Herald learnt.
The Punch quoted a resident as describing the assailants as “herdsmen” that have been terrorising the local government for a while.
Meanwhile, the Ondo State Police Command has confirmed the incident.
Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO) in the state, Funmilayo Odunlami, who confirmed the incident, promised to release details later.
