There was confusion this morning as Police officers were on hand to seal off Sharks stadium which was the proposed venue for the PDP convention scheduled to hold there.
Two court injunctions by Justice Okon Abang ruled that the convention must not hold. While another said the convention could go ahead. Roads leading to old presidential Lodge where the governors are accommodated have reportedly been blocked.
According to Premium Times, the Police Public Relations Officer in the state, Nnamdi Omoni, confirmed this saying, “Yes, we have (sealed off) the place,” Mr. Omoni said. “We are just obeying the court instruction.”
