Nigerian singer, Tems, has denied herself of food since her arrest on Saturday by the Ugandan Police.
The singer was arrested alongside fellow artiste, Omah Lay, for featuring in a music concert in the capital city, Kampala.
The concert was deemed a violation of the country’s Covid-19 guidelines.
Tems is being remanded in the Kigo Prison, Uganda, after court hearings on Monday, Dec. 14.
While in court, Tems could be overheard discussing with a court official and refusing to eat any form of food.
All appeals to make her rescind her decision of a self-imposed hunger fell on deaf ears as the female singer stood her grounds.
Further court hearings will take place on Wednesday, Dec. 16.
