Temmie Ovwasa, also known as YBNL princess, has recently expressed her strong feelings towards Christians, stating that she would rather go to hell than associate with them. In a candid podcast interview on ‘Doyin’s Corner’, the talented singer elaborated on her reasons, citing the unkindness she has experienced from Christians as the primary factor.
Ovwasa revealed that she frequently faces attacks and harassment due to her sexuality as a lesbian. Regrettably, she shared how trolls relentlessly target her, claiming that her sexual orientation contradicts the teachings of Jesus. Disturbed by such encounters, Ovwasa decided to open up about her perspective.
“I often joke about going to hell, not because I truly believe in its existence, but because it irks certain individuals, and I find some amusement in that,” Ovwasa explained. “However, I don’t genuinely believe in a fiery pit of eternal damnation awaiting me. And honestly, if such a place were to exist, I would prefer it over being confined to heaven with Christians.“
Ovwasa further elaborated on her sentiments, expressing disappointment with the behavior of some Christians. She revealed that she frequently receives unsolicited messages in her DMs, where people passionately inform her that she is destined for hell. Such actions, according to Ovwasa, contradict the teachings of Jesus.
“Christians are the meanest people I have met in my life.” Ovwasa shared. “They come to my DM every day to tell me that I am going to hell. That is not what Jesus preached“
