Rapper Daniel Hernandez popularly known as Tekashi 6ix9ine is set to face a $5.3m lawsuit later this month.
According to a report by Complex, plaintiffs and event promoters, Benhur Tesfalidet and Anton Alexander will be refiling the lawsuit before the month ends.
Benhur Tesfalidet and Anton Alexander originally filed a lawsuit against Tekashi back in 2018 on the grounds of breach of contract, fraud and defamation.
They alleged that in 2018 Tekashi 6ix9ine cancelled a concert without notice in favour of another show at a different venue on the same night. They stated that Tekashi 6ix9ine kept the $58,470 paid to him in advance after failing to show up. However the case was dismissed.
Now according to Complex, Tesfalidet and Alexander are set to refile the multi-million dollar suit before the end of June.
Other defendants were named in the upcoming lawsuit. His former manager Kifano “Shotti” Jordan, the husband-and-wife duo of Steve and Tashea Ferguson of MTA Booking, booker Will Cornish, and 6ix9ine’s first manager Christian Ehigiator. iHeartMedia, Inc., formerly included in the 2018 version, no longer appears in the new lawsuit.
