CEO of Payporte, the company sponsoring Big Brother, Eyo Bassey has given his opinion on the eviction of Bam Bam and Teddy A.
According to him, he is of the opinion that sex does not sell as much as people seem to think in the house.
Teddy A and Bam Bam have been involved in an amorous affair while in the house with suggestions that the two have engaged in activities of a sexual nature in the house.
In a tweet which he posted online, Bassey said; “I hope everyone will understand and see clearly that ‘sex and nudity does not sell on #BBnaija. @payporte has maintained this position. Compared to last season when neither sex or nudity was televised we all can judge. I hope my fellow colleagues can get the message. #Bamteddy.”
He also took to his Instagram to say a little more posting this: ”I warned and they refused to listen. Sex doesn’t sell this @bigbrothernaija. we insisted on this last season and the show was clean and shattered all records. This weekend eviction is another pointer.”
The duo was evited within hours of each other even though it wasn’t officially an eviction day.
Bassey’s comments were taken with some ire as fans criticised him of televising sex so as to make the show trend. He deleted his comments and placed this on Instagram instead.
