Chidinma Ojukwu, the suspected killer of Super TV CEO, Michael Usifo Ataga, is on the verge of being suspended by the University of Lagos (UNILAG), where she is a 300-level student of the Department of Mass Communication.
A report by The Punch, quoting an unnamed professor of the institution, stated that Ojukwu was on her way to being suspended as her alleged crime violated the provisions of the Student Handbook that guides the conduct of the institution’s students.
The don said that the suspension would at least be in place pending the outcome of the police investigation into the killing of Ataga.
“We don’t just suspend like that. A committee will examine the situation, including the video where she confessed before taking a decision. But I do not think she can escape suspension,” a dean in one of the institution’s faculties who preferred anonymity said.
