West Ham are being linked with a move for Nigeria international, Azubuike Egwuekwe.
Reports claim the east London club are interested in making a move for the talented defender, who is available for around £1 million (N290 million).
Sam Allardyce is looking to strengthen his back-line as uncertainty continues to surround the future of New Zealand international, Winston Reid, who has yet to agree a new contract and can walk away as a free agent at the end of the season.
The West Ham manager has already signed Canadian defender, Doneil Henry, in the January transfer window and could follow that up with a move for the Warri Wolves captain.
Egwuekwe said: “Offers are coming from overseas.
“I have an offer from a Premier League club, the [English] Championship, and from Russia.
“I am still a Warri Wolves, but at the end of this month, I hope to say bye bye to Warri Wolves.”
