Former presidential aide, Reno Omokri says majority of Africans remain poor because the successful ones among them hoard vital information that made them successful.
The US-based pastor stated this in a Monday night Facebook post while encouraging successful Africans to write books to document their experiences so that others can learn and replicate their success.
Omokri is an accomplished writer. His book Facts Versus Fiction, the True Story of the Jonathan Years: Chibok, 2015 and the Conspiracies was a number one bestseller on Amazon’s International Business category and in its conspiracy theory category and was named by Channels TV amongst its top 20 books of 2017.
Omokri, who was Special Assistant to former President Jonathan on New Media, wrote, “Too many Africans succeed and never write books about how they succeeded. It is a major reason Africa is poor.
“Our successful men and women hoard their knowledge making it impossible for others to replicate their success.”
Advising the successful Africans, the University of Wolverhampton law graduate wrote, “Give back by writing books. Scripture says “Write the vision And make it plain on tablets, That he may run who reads it”-Habakkuk 2:2. The reason why Africa has so much division is because we do not write the vision. We hide the vision!”
