Liverpool striker Daniel Sturridge is believed to be dissatisfied and may opt to leave the club following repeated criticisms by fans over his frequent injury problems.
The criticism was further driven home when manager Jurgen Klopp complained recently about his frustration with the fitness records of some of his players.
However, despite having suffered as many as eight different injury problems since his £12 million move from Chelsea three years ago, Sturridge has the highest goals-per-game ratio in the new top-flight, netting 37 goals in 57 Premier League games.
The club is believed to be ready to let the player go, considering his £140,000 wage bill, but are looking towards a hefty transfer fee considering he has two and half more years left on his contract, Sun Sport reports.
While many clubs have been linked with the player in the past, including Arsenal and West Ham, the latter were reportedly put off by his niggling injury problems.
But, if the former Manchester City and Chelsea forward put in a decent showing in the 2016 Euro for England, he is expected to find a club ready to take him onboard.
