Mohammed Sani a 19 year old student of of Government Technical College Malali, Kaduna was found stabbed to death on his bed in the school hostel.
According to the father of the deceased, Alhaji Harisu Sani the principal of the school called him around 4:30 am and asked if he was the father of Mohammed Sani and upon confirmation, he was instructed to rush down to the school because his son is dead.
“Based on this I dashed to the school thinking my son passed away in his sleep but when I arrived at his hostel I saw him in his pool of blood and stabbed on the right side of his chest with sharp object suspected to be knife.
“What baffled me most was that there are about 200 students in the hostel and I wonder why none of them saw the killers and did not raise alarm. I believe that my son was killed by somebody within and the school authority and the state government should tell what happened to my son because as a boarding student he was in their custody.” He said
Mallam Sani who resides at Michika road Tudun Nupawa in Kaduna south Local Government said that he is going to use all available legal means to ensure that justice is done to his son. Speaking in the same vein , the Uncle of Late Mohammed Sani Mallam Mohammed Kabir said from available information to the family this is the third case of students murdered within the school premises and no suspect has been arrested.
Mallam Kabir also expressed dismay the just across the fence on the school along Jaji road are Brothels accommodating prostitutes and on several occasion people who patronize them and have run into trouble often scale the fence of the school into the college for safety.
“It is also disturbing that these brothels sells alcohol drinks even to the students, kaduna state government should do something about this.
Today it is my brother’s son, only Allah knows who will be the next if urgent steps are not taken.
When contacted the Police Public Relation Officer, kaduna Command, DSP Zubairu Abdullahi said, “we received the complaints this morning that a student of Technical College Malali was killed. However, investigation is going in order to arrest the culprits.
