Strange Deaths: DSS’s DG’s Mother, Karimatu Abubakar, Dies In Kano

As strange deaths rock Kano, the Director-General of the Department of State Services (DSS), Yusuf Magaji Bichi, has lost his mother, Karimatu Abubakar, in Kano on Sunday.

 

According to reports, the DG’s mother died on Sunday night in Bichi town and was buried on Monday.

The Herald had reported that Kano state has become the epicentre of gloom with the continuous mysterious deaths of many Nigerians.

 

The Northern state has been trending on Nigerian social platforms after it was claimed that over 600 people died within eight days.

 

While few died of COVID-19,  the major cause of other deaths remains unknown although there have been speculations linking meningitis to these mass deaths.

 

Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) has shut down its agency in Kano state and there has been no official statement from the government regarding these sudden deaths.
