Joe Igbokwe, Lagos All Progressives Congress (APC) Chieftain and Special Adviser on Gutter Affairs to Governor Sanwo-olu of Lagos state, has condemned the inhumane treatment meted out to Omoyele Sowore, Convener of #RevolutionNow who campaigned for Buhari in 2015.
Earlier, The Herald reported how operatives of Department of State Services violently re-arrested the Sahara Reporters Publisher during a court session after chasing the presiding Judge using several weapons.
Joe Igbokwe said the treatment was unfair and totally uncalled for, knowing Sowore was a former staunch supporter of President Buhari.

According to him, the Convener of #RevolutionNow used his publishing platform to push the presidential campaign that brought Muhammadu Buhari to power in 2015. Igbokwe said Sowore’s continued detention by DSS was not deserved as he called on the relevant authorities to release him.
In Igbokwe’s words: “Enough Of This drama!!! Let Sowore Go Home Please. Despite His mistakes the great Guy Is A Patriot. HE BELIEVES IN THIS COUNTRY AND HE WORKED SO HARD WITH Sahara Reporters TO PUSH PMB TO POWER IN 2015. IAM A LIVING WITNESS.”
