Ondo state Magistrate court has ordered that Pastor Alfa Babatunde be remanded in prison custody for his alleged involvement over the strange disappearance of Eniola Gold Kolawole, a one-year-old boy who went missing within Sotitobire church premises
The court arrived at this decision after Alfa Babatunde was arraigned on two counts of felony and kidnap.
Eniola Kolawole, one-year-old child went missing after his parents dropped him off at the creche section of the church which is located at Oshinle quarters of Ondo state capital, Akure. The unfortunate incident took place on Dec 10, 2019.
Angry youths set the church ablaze following speculations that the child was buried under the church altar.
However, Ondo state Police Command has issued a statement debunking the rumours.
The state Governor Olurotimi also released a statement appealing for calm from the enraged residents.
