Ace Nollywood filmmaker, Kunle Afolayan clocked 46 today and his colleagues in the industry have hit Instagram to pay him tributes.

Kunle Afolayan was born on September 30, 1974, in Ebute Meta, Lagos.

The son of the late popular filmmaker, Adeyemi Afolayan aka Ade Love, Kunle has produced/directed some of Nigeria’s most remarkable films in recent history.

The multiple award-winning filmmaker is the CEO of Golden Effects Pictures and the brain behind popular titles such as The Figurine, Phone Swap, Irapada, October 1, Roti, Omugwo, The Tribunal, The CEO and Mokalik.

His upcoming movie Citation, which will feature Temi, one of the daughters of billionaire, Femi Otedola, has been acquired by Netflix.

Some of his celebrity colleagues who took to the platform to express their good wishes are the celebrant’s younger brother, Gabriel Afolayan, Sola Sobowale, Toyin Abraham, Femi Adebayo and Lala Akindoju.
