All Progressives Congress, Sokoto State Chapter has selected Alhaji Ahmed Aliyu as the running mate of Alhaji Aminu Tambuwal, the gubernatorial candidate of the party in the state.
This was made known in a statement signed by the acting Chairman of the party in the state, Alhaji Usman Danmadamin Isa. The statement read “The All Progressive Congress has, in consultation with its gubernatorial candidate, Alhaji Aminu Waziri Tambuwal and other stakeholders, chosen Alhaji Ahmed Aliyu as running mate/deputy governor for the 2015 elections.”
Members of the party were also urged to work in harmony towards the success of the 2015 elections.
Ahmed Aliyu is the Current Commissioner of Health in Sokoto State.
