Social media users trooped to their various social media pages to complain about the downtime suffered by one of the most wide spread, cross platform messaging app, WhatsApp.
The application suffered a 2 hours plus downtime last night, May 4, 2017, as the developers scrambled around to fix the technical glitch.
Social media users who were thrown into panic mode took to their social media platform on Twitter to share their reactions.
The technical glitch has since been fixed and the service restored although there is no official word from WhatsApp yet.
