The General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, Pastor Enoch Adeboye has advised the Christian faithful to be careful about marriages contracted through Social Media sites, saying that such marriages may not stand the test of time.
The cleric speaking at the sermon for President Goodluck Jonathan’s foster daughter Faith’s wedding to her husband Godswill said, “If you marry the modern way like on Facebook, you may likely divorce the modern way. Marry traditionally and involve God.”
Adeboye charged that the success of the wedding rested on the husband and admonished the groom to ensure that the wedding succeeded.
