Popular Nigerian entertainer Nasboi has weighed in on Wizkid’s recent social media controversy. Appearing on the “Bahd And Boujee Podcast,” Nasboi, whose real name is Lawal Michael Nasiru Bolaji, criticized Wizkid for disrespecting music industry veteran Don Jazzy.
“Wizkid was wrong for talking to Don Jazzy that way,” Nasboi stated. He pointed out a perceived shift in Wizkid’s demeanor, suggesting a past period of respect towards Don Jazzy. “Before now, Wizkid used to respect Don Jazzy… You remember Wizkid vs Linda Ikeji?”
Nasboi’s comment references a past online spat between Wizkid and blogger Linda Ikeji, where some fans felt Don Jazzy intervened to mediate. Co-host Tolanibaj offered a concise explanation: “He [Wizkid] is a troll. We know that.”
This comes after Wizkid ignited a social media firestorm with tweets directed at both Don Jazzy and fellow musician Davido.
